A Career in Music

In the 1980’s Mike signed a 3-year Publishing deal as house writer for ATV Music
Mike also performed on recording sessions with the Rock'n'Roll band Matchbox.

1988 was the beginning of a 12-year association with Albert Lee and Hogan's Heroes.

Toured throughout Europe, including venues at Ronnie Scott's (London), Wembley and the Montreux Jazz Festival.

The last of these became a live recording in 1993.

In 1992, along with drummer Peter Baron and bass player, Bill Gibbard, Mike collaborated on a collection of jointly composed songs resulting in 'Arnolds Hat', the 1st Instrumental album.

Mike performed with Live Report in the UK's 1989 Eurovision entry at Lausanne. (see the video)

On Tour

Performed with The Dennis Locorriere Band in the UK, culminating in a successful tour of Australia in 2001.

In 2002 Mike Performed with Benny Gallagher as support to 10cc on their UK tour.

Recording, Writing and Producing

In 2003 Mike released his 3rd Album Time Was, soft jazz with a nostalgic theme.

Since 2003 Mike’s focus has shifted to his own studio, writing and producing notably with Ricardo Vieira and Andrea Black. The collaboration with Andrea became an album which was released at the end of 2007.
